Most promotions I've worked on have included point-of-sale and displays. Examples here were produced for various in-store promotions and were built around consumer offers, such as discounting, BOGOs, tie-ins, free recipes and recipe books, free sampling, couponing, and sweepstakes. The retail environment demands frequent adaptations and custom work, which is one of my specialties. Many promotions ran concurrently with consumer ad campaigns, in which case, I leveraged that look and feel. Other times, we developed stand-alone concepts, such as The C&H Baking Center, a seasonal promotion with large end-aisle displays that contained all ingredients for a series of recipes we offered. For this, I designed and customized a set of display pieces, including a 3 part, modular point-of-sale display, with an embedded aromatic device that sent out the smell of fresh baked cookies for 3 weeks.
